There have been a few incidents lately of guys breaking into cars and waiting for female driver to return. There have also been a few incidents of them waiting until a female driver was trying to get into her car and then attempting to assault them. These are the most inept criminals in the world as the only thing they've accomplished is getting arrested and traumatizing women.I know one of the victims, because she frequents my business. She described the incident. After she was in her car, a guy grabber her and tried to force his way in after her. She drew her revolver from her purse and pointed it at him at which point he ran away.I jokingly asked her if she carried a .357 Magnum. "No. I have a revolver." She was unable to tell me what sort she owned, and I in no way wanted her to show me. At another point in the conversation, she said she could have shot him and just pushed him into the car to make things look better.I am not a lawyer, but I'm pretty familiar with state laws from gacarry.org, US Law Shield, and my own research. I tried to interject a fact or two and suggest some resources. Deaf ears. She already knows everything there is to know about firearms, concealed carry and any other tangential topic...because she dates a cop.I seriously hope her boyfriend recognizes the gaps in her knowledge and can actually help her.I'm comfortable around people carrying firearms concealed or otherwise. This is the first time I've known someone was legally carrying and been ill at ease. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/25glhtq
