Firearm and holster recommendations for a new CCW holder.

Hey people!I recently acquired my concealed weapons permit and have been looking at various handguns, but found I had a few questions.Concealability (is that a word?): I'm a fairly small guy at 5'10" 130lbs, but I wear flannels and other button ups over long sleeved shirts year round so I assumed that I should have little issue with carrying; however after walking around a bit with a couple of my Dads guns holstered AIWB I'm a bit unsure as there was a rather visible bulge. These were a S&W M&P .40, and a Glock 19. He has others but no in waistband holsters for them.At the same time I'm unsure if this was actually due to his shitty holsters which ride a bit high and seem a bit bulky... he has a habit of buying various pieces of solid equipment and then buying shitty, but equally important, equipment (ex., buying shitty ar-15 magazines with feed lips that broke after 200 rounds, good saws but shitty blades, etc.). What size weapon would I, with a body type you're probably accurately imagining, realistically be able to carry without significant printing? Clearly some serious concealment is possible as seen in this post, but this seems like a bit much for constant edc particularly if you're gonna be carrying at work.Recommendations: I have a few guns I'm interested in, but I'd like some recommendations in case I'm overlooking something that is well worth its price. I'm also looking for holster recommendations as well as critiques of my choice of guns I'm looking at (please if I'm looking entirely in the wrong place let me know, I know way more about rifles than handguns). I'm mostly looking for something similar in size to a Glock 19 or a M&P 9, but I'm looking for suggestions for a reason.I generally don't like particularly small handguns; I'm a decent shooter (though not brilliant by any means) and can work with smaller guns, but I'd like a little more work to be done for me for a self defense weapon if I'm being honest. For example my dad raves about his Sig P365 but, having shot it, I can't stand the thing. It's a good gun don't get me wrong, but i can't stand something about how it recoils; I have an easier time shooting his 4" .40 and .45 if you believe it... then again, reading this over, I'm may be doing something wrong. As for what I was looking at:The aforementioned M&P 9: I quite like my Dad's M&P 40 and the same footprint and similar handling in 9mm sounds appealing.Walther PPQ: I've had the opportunity to fire one of these at a gun range, and I was fond of the ergonomics and trigger. I also liked the sights, but I'm not too sure why seeing as they're fairly ordinary.Canik TP9SF Elite: I went shooting with a friend and he brought his. I loved the trigger, particularly after he told me the price point, and it was ergonomically similar to the PPQ but without the finger grooves (is there a term for those?). Did seem a bit wider than the g19 I had to compare.Glock 19/others: Glocks are good and reliable, but for the price I think I can get better. Still goes on the list.CZ P10C: I haven't had the chance to fire one, but had heard positive reviews. It's within my budget, but I don't know much more beyond that.Arex Delta/Gen 2: Smaller company, but I've heard/read positive reviews and it's withing my price point. Seems to have a relatively low bore axis, but I can't tell much without handling it.Taurus G3/G3c: I'd probably look at one of these if I was going to get a second, smaller handgun for days where I wasn't wearing the heavier clothes I usually wear. I generally find Taurus' a bit uncomfortable in the hand, but their newer stuff is reliable and quite affordable.Walther PPK: I'd get one of these if I could afford it cause I'm a geek and kinda nerded out after shooting one at a firing range... not in my budget though. Please tell me if I'm being an idiot and looking in the wrong place. As for holsters I'm completely lost... help? I've heard Tenicor is good. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2SDSZtQ
