I have 3 Vedder Holsters. All light tucks. At one point I would have even recommended them. They are overpriced, over promoted here, and degrade rapidly."...but ... they're adjustable!" Maybe. Maybe if they manage to drill the holes correctly and the inside piece with the threads fits into all slot options. On all three of mine, they do not."...but.... the clip is pretty good!" It's the same bulk produced clip that all holster companies use. I had a $20 cheap Tagua gun store holster with the same clip. After moderate use, they stop holding onto your belt reliably and they have such a loose hold that the gun tilts forward and backward."...it's a solid choice and you know what you're getting..." Maybe when the price was competitive. After shipping they are usually $75+, only $15 shy of much better holster options."...you just haven't tried the wing yet!..." Yes I have, and it's a horrible design. Also, retention is pretty bad. All of my guns have shifted out of them at some point and the "retention adjustment" compression screw has very little effect on retention and loosens by the end of the day anyway. There is a ton of extra material around muzzle of the gun they wont trim off. A CZ 75 muzzle is several inches long, an inch tall and pretty thin. So why is the front of the holster 3 inches tall? Its like trying to appendix carry a ping pong paddle. And why are the glock holsters trimmed thinner for a large muzzle?Guys this is not a graphics card, a mountain bike, or some hobby item. Your holster is also safety equipment that prevent discharges and accidental injury or death. This is not quality or safe stuff that should be recommended to new carriers. And if you want a vedder, just order a 40 dollar holster off amazon. It's exactly the same. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3vvNwUn
