My EDC handgun is a S&W 442 J-frame .38 special revolver in a leather pocket holster — in other words, the same basic approach that many folks carrying in the 1960s would have adopted. There are obvious plusses and minuses to this carry option and we’ll leave that for another day. Well, not before I say that this is a solid carry option for many situations, but not others. I understand and appreciate that.Recently I’ve been thinking about the Springfield Hellcat. Took a quick look at one yesterday at a gun store and I’m impressed. It’s like have a tiny little Browning Hi-Power. Magic.In order for this to be a ready carry option for me, I would want to pocket carry. Basically, grab gun in holster and go.
