So I got my LTC in Texas a couple of weeks ago and while I'm new to CCW, I'm not new to guns. I have a huge collection of handguns (way more than I'm willing to admit). And while I've always had a couple of favorite "house guns" or "range guns" I'm having trouble carrying one and I'm at a loss as to why.My current experiment is a Glock 19 Gen 5 in an Alien Gear Shapeshift 4 IWB. I paired the holster with a NextBelt an influencer I follow had a code. I'm a bigger dude and by bigger I mean my belt size is about 44 or 46 depending how pants are cut by designer.I find I'm struggling to keep the gun from dragging my draw hand side of my pants down to my knees. The only viable solution seems to be to tie the belt as tight as it can go till it's just about to choke off my lower intestine. That works fine and all. But walking kinda stinks this way because it cinches up so tight it looks my jeans have a pleat in the front.I've tried my Glock 43 and a cheap holster I grabbed at my range just for laughs and the situation is more or less the same. Belts gotta be so tight its cutting off my blood supply. I looked at video ALienGear did with one of their CSRs who is WAAAAAAAY larger than me and he seemed to have no issues. So I'm about 90% sure it's something I'm doing wrong. Any/all suggestions are welcome. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3p6j8xx
