What do you think would be better? If I warn the attacker and show I have the spray, will that just piss them off more or prompt then to test if I will use it? I can just catch them by surprise if I feel threatened enough but I could have had a chance to potentially scare them off with brandishing. I’m referring to a potential attacker attempting to get in my personal space/hurling threats rather then them in the act of physically attacking me. Please let me know what would be better.
