Greetings everyone from Georgia. About a year ago I purchased a S&W M&P 9mm from a friend of mine. I know the guy but I wouldn’t say we are close friends. I got a pretty good deal on it because he needed the money but I would really like to confirm that’s it’s not stolen. He said he also bought it from a friend and provided no paperwork with it. I’ve checked all of the stolen gun data bases I could find online but it seems like they are all “self reported” stolen guns (my gun did not show up on any of those).
