Hi all, hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I found our I'm getting a Vortex Venom for Christmas. I will be mounting it to my M&P Shield .40. I am trying to figure out if the venom is compatible out of the box or if I'd need an adapter plate like the one below. Also, I am not sure if the new set up will fit my holster.
