Are there air gun laws in the United States?

I am considering living out my van for a while and doing some traveling. For self-defense I intend to get a Utah CCW. However, when I am in states that do not recognize the Utah CCW I am considering using air guns for self defense. Mostly for show. Thoughts? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/35pHH0C
