Lights on handguns?

Right out the gate, I titled this post specifically. As a pistol is a: "please don't make me use this!" option while a rifle is a "ya done fucked up" option, IMO. Meaning, if I draw on you with a pistol, its out of self defense (MOST LIKELY), if I have my rifle, things have gotten bad. Please don't turn this into an internet war. I am posting this as I have gone back and forth on this subject many times over the years and it generally, can, turn into a civilized argument and a fun one!Handgun mounted lights? Yar or nay?I'll startMy personal opinion after two decades plus of experience it nay. The PRIMARY reason being, I don't need my flashlight to also be attached to a firearm when I'm investigating some thumps and crashing outside my home at 1am, and it turns out to just be some kids who snuck out to goof around i.e. I'm now pointing a loaded firearm at them when they do no warrant such (Felony in my state) Id rather have a light in my off hand.ANNNNND GO! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/36b8L3V
