New to CCW, not that new to firearms. But I have never carried in a holster - just went to the range mostly. I'm getting my CCW and have both a P226 (in .40) as well as a P365 (I got the TACPAC) that I intend to carry. I'm a left handed shooter and a big guy at 6'6", 275. Not really wanting AIWB but would most likely be IWB at 8 or 9 o'clock.I have been doing a bit of reading and it's constantly mentioned that being confident and capable with your carry is most important. I'm mody confident with my P226 as I've owned it much longer and have shot a lot of rounds through it - but being a full size I always figured it was kind of "not an option" until I started googling around. I see there are people who do it regularly and claim there are no issues. What are some holsters that work well for carrying a full size? I saw a lot of favorable reviews of the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.5 (the 4.0 is not available for P226).I'm still not sure a P226 will be a reasonable EDC - which is why I picked up the P365 - if you have carried a P226 - let me know your thoughts! The P365 I just got (TACPAC) and while a lot of people say "the holster is shit", I was thinking I'd give it a try to get used to it and see how it goes. Does anyone have any experience actually carrying with the OEM holster? All of that said: I really don't know anything about holsters. What makes one good and another dogshit, etc. Anyone have any good advice on things to think about/consider with holsters or where to learn more about the differences between them?Lastly: IWB Holsters for P226 and IWB Holsters for P365 - what do you recommend and why? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/30QqZ7G
