Drunk and Armed at a Wedding

First, let me say that I was not drinking, but I was armed. I even chose the sparkling cider for the toast.One of my wife's friends was getting married last night. It was a cowboy themed wedding so jeans, boots, hats and enormous belt buckles were everywhere. My wife questioned my sanity when she noticed me putting on a holster, but shrugged because she knows how many of her friend's family members are felons. The bride is a really sweet girl, but her family is all kinds of crazy and trouble with a history of alcoholism and violence. So, a wedding with an open bar is a wonderful place for all of these people.Anyway, while we are there I'm people watching before the ceremony. The first 2 I notice are both wearing Urban Carry holsters. The flaps are crazy obvious and the giant gun shaped buldge in their jeans are either full size guns or genetic deformities. The next guy I notice is wearing a shoulder holster under his vest. Then I see a woman with a purse holster and 2 bridesmaids with a thigh holster.After the ceremony I notice a few more people pocket carrying and a guy trying to conceal a giant revolver IWB, but the barrel keeps poking the leg of his pants out.So, we've made it to the reception and every single one of these people has started drinking like it is a contest. The bartender has replaced the Jack Daniels bottle 4 times and the Jose Cuervo bottle 3 times before the bride and groom come out and dinner is supposed to start. This doesn't include the now 3 55 gallon trash cans full of empty beer bottles either.We waited for the bride and groom to come by so we could congratulate them and then we got the hell out.I've carried for over 20 years and I like to think I keep the gun concealed and remain inconspicuous when I'm out and about. I have never been around that many people who are armed and unaware or incapable of hiding their guns. I've also never been around that many drunk people in my life.
