Pulled over for the first time while carrying.

I kept my hands on the wheel and while not legally necessary in my state the first thing I told the cop was that I had a concealed weapons permit and that my firearm was on my right hip. His response was you don't touch yours and I won't touch mine. I had a tail light out and outdated stickers on my plates but got off with a warning and we wished each other a good night.I think a unique respect comes from immediately providing info vital to the safety of both yourself and the officer. I don't want to say that's why I got off but it sure as shit beats the office finding out you have a gun before you tell them! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3c9uppO
