Do any of you leave your ccw loaded ALL the time?

I've been wondering if there are any negatives for leaving your carry loaded all the time, meaning instead of unloading the chambered round you just leave it hot and put it in your safe, nightstand, holster, etc.The most obvious "negative" is that your ccw is always loaded so if you have children, company over, whatever, extra precaution is assumed. However, I'm pretty certain 99% of you already treat the firearm as loaded even if you know its not but whatever. The reason I'm wondering about leaving my carry loaded at all times is to help reduce parts wear on the firearm and ammunition. I assume that leaving a round in the chamber at all times is less damaging than racking and loading a round everytime you plan to carry.Thoughts and opinions? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2GP4IMX
