This is my first time venturing outside of my normal subreddit community... so here's my obligatory apology in case this question isn't allowed or whatever. I regularly carry in my synagogue and often wear what's called a Kapota. The closest English translation for this that I can find is a "men's frock". This is the way its worn and looks like from the front (side view; view from the back). My gun is a Ruger LC9s which I primarily carry in a regular Kydex IWB holster on my right side (3-o'clock), although I am currently trying to break in the Urban Carry G3 holster. The issue I have when carrying with my kydex holster in the 3-o'clock position while wearing my kapota is that fully clearing the area at my 3-o'clock waistline of fabric is difficult (even more so with it fully buttoned as pictured above). I've found that I can effectively clear the front of my right thigh by sweeping my hand though the slit just below the lower button. Wearing my kydex holster appendix style isn't comfortable for me, and while easier is still difficult to clear for a good draw. Are there any good thigh/drop holsters that can be worn to carry on the thigh in a 12-o'clock position so that the bottom of the fabric that falls below the waistline will conceal the gun?I'd also prefer not breaking the bank. I don't feel a holster should cost as much as a whole new gun. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3bc35H1
