I live in Idaho and my 18th birthday is January 3rd. As of July of this year, you can concealed carry at 18 without a permit, I still plan to get one as my girlfriend lives and Washington and I'd definitely feel more comfortable with it there than here. However my issue is legality in terms of owning/buying a pistol. Still can't buy one until 21, however I built a 3D Printed G17 for the fun of it over the last summer (definitely not for carry), and plan on buying a new Poly80 G19 on my birthday. I know that those are already sketchy/grey areas in terms of being legal to carry, but they're kind of my only options without having a family member buy the gun for me. Any advice is appreciated.
