Been wondering, in Texas if you don't have a CHL are you able to take a firearm to a friend's house if they don't care that you have one? Do the same rules about having a firearm in your own home apply in this situation? For example, if I'm visiting my friend and I bring my firearm with me (and they're perfectly fine with it) and an incident occurs where I end up shooting someone breaking in or something, what would the legal implications be?
