Hello. So, I've managed to lose enough weight that I need a new belt but Ares stopped making the specific model I like. I'm considering going for the aegis but I'm not sure how much I prefer the cobra buckle or if there's a noticeable difference in stiffness between my old belt and the new ones they make. I've looked at SOE belts and the blue alpha but have no way to compare to my current belt. From watching videos, the blue alpha looks less rigid but don't know if it's enough to make a difference?
