Just got my permit to carry and looking for a EDC

I’m looking to get a EDC and looking at either a Springfield 911 or a LCP2 I know they are quite different but I have held the Springfield and I like it. It seems a lot of people say they are unreliable and just to get a sig instead. Many people say to go with the LCP2 as well. I would get a sig p238 or a 938 but they are a little pricey for me. My father in law suggested a bersa but they seem a little heavy for my liking. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
