Question about the M&P striker

Hey all, quick question about the striker/ on the M&PsWhen the striker is cocked, is it resting up against the safety plunger, with the plunger being what is holding it back from firing?Or does the DA trigger mechanism hold the striker back independently? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/30sdOY0
