Hey guys, I live in Florida and it is crazy hot here. I really only own a "summer carry" (Ruger LCP 2) right now, but I have carried a VP9 in the past during the cooler months. I have always been uncomfortable holding and shooting the LCP2 and I feel like I'm being lazy about just throwing it in my pocket and not actually being prepared to use it. I also can't hit anything past 7 yards or so.I decided to get something a little bigger and make the LCP2 a "gym shorts only" carry. I drove to my LGS to put hands on a P365 finally and I really dig it. I can get a good grip with the 12+1 mag. That said, it isn't much bigger than the LCP and I couldn't rent one to shoot, so I'm a little concerned with being able to hit things and enjoy shooting it enough to practice a lot.My choice is either go with the striker-fired platform I know with the p365 and save a ton of money (I'm far from wealthy, but I could afford either option here) or go with something closer to full size and I stumbled on this deal with a local guy:Asking price is a brutal $1,150, but after adding it all up it seems like a solid deal.Values:CZ P-01 decocker (At least $500 used)Cajun Gun Works Pro Package round hammer installed by his gunsmith ($270 + gunsmith work $, but I don't know the gunsmith, so kinda iffy)Slide is milled for an INCLUDED Holosun 507c and cerakoted (from Primary Machine for $190 + about $230 for Holosun 507c)Suppressor-height sights front and back (behind the optic for rear) (Not sure $, they're simple dot sights)the normal 2 mags, some upgraded G10 grips, and a kydex holster I prolly won't useGun is used, but only about 500 rounds and looks very nice.I like the gun a lot and I think I find value in all of the upgrades done to it. I do own a suppressor in 9mm if that matters.Which way do I go? via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2JsbjQG
