One-handed shooting is tough, isn't it? But it's an interesting exercise. We often forget that in a defensive encounter, our strong hand may be grappling while we're trying to draw and present our firearm while using our support hand. This month's match required you to aim and fire using each hand, and there was a moderate amount of feedback from users who expressed newfound awareness that they needed to practice this skill. This is exactly why we're running these matches- to get people outside and practicing their techniques! Hopefully we can make each other aware of strengths and weaknesses, so that we can all learn and grow. Please give feedback below on this match, last month's match, and what you would like to see in the coming months. We used feedback form April's match to make changes to May (more complexity, witness isn't required, etc), and we're wanting to continue to improve these matches. Complexity is fun, but we need to keep these easy to enter. Requiring everyone to own a shot timer, setup video cameras, and print custom targets is unrealistic... though it would make for a fun /r/CCW National Championships this fall.If you haven't entered the May Match yet, there's still time. Wednesday is the last day for entries. via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2LVhKxO
