Belt holding it's own weight?

I just received my Hank's Extreme belt and the first thing I did was buckle it and hold it out a little ways from my body. The belt seemed to droop a little. Is this supposed to happen or am I expecting too much? via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2Pj7ugZ
