I recently bought a ruger lcp 2 for summer pocket carry. One of the things I immediately noticed is when sat down for the first time in my car is when the barrel is pointing. This is obviously not an issue in my car as I am not facing anyone, but at a picnic table or on a couch it becomes concerning. Everyone I have talked to in person has told me as long as the gun is holstered and you don’t pull the trigger it will not go off. It still just feels like going against better judgement.
