Sig has announced their plan to fix the drop issue with all p320 handguns. The fix is free to owners and Sig will pay for the shipping both ways.

http://ift.tt/2vE43aT I am impressed with their decision. I know they will get flack that the military version doesn't have this issue and some will say they were trying to pull one off on people, but..they addressed the issue head on and are making it right, without even charging for shipping. despite the fact that, as they point out, their guns passed all the required safety tests.with the number of guys out there who have entire YouTube channels devoted to reviewing and torture testing guns, I highly doubt Sig knew there was an issue and pushed the gun out to market anyway. the sheer potential liability alone would make such a move silly. There a lot of reasons such a move is unlikely for a gun company in 2017.does this announcement change anyone's mind one way or another about the gun? is there anyone who will decline the voluntary fix due to the 4-6 week wait time? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2vXeWXP
