Question about Browning Hi-Power and ammo

I'm interested in purchasing a Browning Hi-Power within the next year or so but from some of the reading I've done on it I've heard a lot of people say it is not the friendliest gun towards HP ammo. Is the case across all of the BHPs? (Excluding the mk III). I have also heard people mention that buying a more recently produced Hi Power would probably provide a more ammo friendly version. Honestly I don't really understand what people mean when they say it isn't the friendliest towards hollow point ammunition, so if anybody would be willing to explain this to me as well it would be great. Also don't try to sway me to a CZ-75. I love the gun but this post isn't about that. Thank you guys for any information you can provide.ps: Where would I even look for a good condition Browning Hi Power? All the places that sell them online new always seem out of stock and the used ones I see always look like they were literally unearthed from the year 1935 via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2vZi4Ci
