Does the claw make appendix carry more uncomfortable if you have a bit of a belly?

I have a thyroid condition and recently went from ~160 lbs to around 185. Because of this I have a belly now, at least until my hormone levels go back to normal and I can lose the weight.I've never had an issue with normal appendix carry. However, I have to order new holsters in the next few days for my PPS and p-07, and I was wondering if the claw makes it more uncomfotable for someone overweight like me?I've never used a holster with a claw before.
