I'll be moving to VA at the end of the month and have a question concerning carry on college/university campuses. It's my understanding that in 2011 the VA Supreme Court held that colleges/universities can prohibit carry in their buildings but not on the open grounds of their institutions (though private ones can do both). Does this mean that the signs and policies they use to prohibit carry in buildings do not hold force of law? For example, if someone carried with a CHP carried into the library at VSU would that be an illegal act according to the Commonwealth? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2viog4u
