How light does a gun need to be to be carried IWB in some gym shorts without them sagging?

Hello everyone. Just looking for some opinions. I currently edc a 1911 but would like something smaller for a quick trip to the store or lounging around the house or something. It would still be in a kydex holster. What about a glock 26? Or are am I more looking at an air weight 38 special? I've read of a few posts on here where people are wearing a normal belt under their shorts and it works out. Could be a route I go, I'm not sure. Any input is appreciated.
