I am a Canadian citizen living near the border of Maine, and spend a lot of time in the states. One of my friends that I stay with often has a ccw, and recently he has mentioned that because of the constitutional carry law in Maine, there should be no reason why I could not carry when visiting. Of course, I would like to do this, but before I do anything I want to check it out thoroughly. I intend to ask the local PD as well soon, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it or any reasons why I would not be allowed(I am over 21 and have a clean criminal record).
