Does it put the lotion on the skin or get the hose again?

I love the title lol. I have a 9mm shield and I have an aliengear IWB tuck 3.0 and while I am waiting for my license to arrive I have been trying to get used to wearing it but its not like I expected.I like it honestly but I feel like it take up too much space on my belt line. I have adjusted it and I still feel a print and I am a big guy (6'2" and 275lb). I am looking at the Vedder and comp tac and were wondering how it rights against the skin for you guys, or do you all wear undershirts?
