TL;DR Wisconsin and Minnesota made the cut, will be included in proclamations by our governor at some point in the futureI got in touch with our attorney general's office and they sent me the annual report they are required to send to our governor for states that are eligible for reciprocity. My hope was that Maine permits would make the cut, however for some mind-boggling reason our AG's office thinks that they do not conduct NCIC and III background checks for their permits even after a sgt from their governor's office confirmed it with me and I subsequently forwarded that to our governor as well as our AG.If you have a moment please consider writing our AG here: http://ift.tt/2cFGanX (select "I need help unrelated to child support") and let them know that Maine does now conduct the NCIC and III background checks required by Texas law for reciprocity, and needs to be included within our reciprocal states. If y'all know of any other state not on the list such as OR, VT or NH that does conduct those background checks as well, and would like to see those licenses honored in TX, please feel free to write our AG about those. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2jy0Lzz
