Affordable IFAKs/First Aid Kits?

I may cross post this to /r/edc, thought I'd come here first.Do any of you carry IFAKs for those who do have bags on them every day? I want one that is limited to the extent of my training.I spent about 6 years as a lifeguard and have been in the military for more than 5 years. I know how to use tourniquets, gauze, bandages, etc.I'm also concerned about using stuff like Quik Clot as I have heard it causes burns and can make life much harder for professionals as it can close the skin but not necessarily stop bleeding.Had a fellow Marine get into a situation where he had to stop bleeding and provide aid for a guy who collapsed on the street. He had to improvise. I would like to have a small IFAK to put in my messenger bag. Wondering if this sub has any recommendations for that. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2k0Q6N0
