Moving to Alabama for school and want to get a ccw. Need help.

Hi, I'm a Texan moving to Alabama for school. I'd like to get my ccw. Unfortunately I won't have a chance to get one while I'm still in Texas (Alabama respects a Texas CHL).I know you have to be a resident of Alabama to get a ccw there, but was wondering what all I would have to do to be eligible.
