Would I be wrong for keeping a concealed carry firearm with me despite my friend’s bad experience with firearms?

TW: Suicide, FirearmsMy friends and I (21M) will be taking a week-long trip to Orlando in about a week from now. I am thinking of bringing my concealed-carry pistol with me for general security and protection.Unfortunately, one of my friend’s “Hailey” (21F) on-and-off boyfriend took his own life via firearm about 3 months ago. I am planning on only keeping the firearm in my car, but of course, I will disclose the fact that I have a CCW to whoever happens to ride with me during the trip.If anything, I can come up with an excuse to keep Hailey from riding with me (there will be multiple drivers on this trip, so she will have other options in terms of transportation). But would I be wrong for choosing to bring the pistol with me at all?
