I have read lot lately that people on here think customizing your EDC gun will get you into lots of trouble if you ever have to use it. Up until last week when someone asked about Cajunizing their P-01, I never even considered improvements could be used against you. I always upgrade my carry guns. Thank God I've never had to use one defensively yet.So my question is why is this a problem? Isn't using deadly force the same regardless of whether the pistol is stock or has had some improvements to it?EDIT: I wasn't talking about aesthetics. I realize that having insignia on it could be used to paint you as some sort of extremist. I'm asking about a smoother trigger, brighter sights, and other internal or integral components. I also understand about the points where it may make the gun less reliable if it's just tacticool garbage. I'm asking from a legal standpoint, why is it "bad" to swap out the springs or the barrel IF it still runs like a million bucks? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/Uxnhl6L
