I’m looking for a compact handgun and have decided on the smith and Wesson shield plus after feeling one in the store yesterday and falling in love with it. Now the only thing is I can’t decide on the 3” model or the 4” model. The 4” model has a longer sight radius and should have a little less perceived recoil bc more mass up front. It will also put more mass below the belt line so when carrying IWB it won’t have the keeling effect as much as the 3” shield, and it comes with upgraded sights. On the other hand, the 3” shield is coming in at like 480 on gun deals and even around 450 sometimes, whereas the 4” model is about 600-650. That’s a decent price difference. Arghh I’m torn.
