This morning I stopped by the gas station. As soon as I parked, I see a woman in the drivers seat of a Mini Cooper, and an older man holding her door open. The Mini Cooper was stopped precariously in one of the gas station exits. The man and woman were talking back and forth, and I was unable to hear their conversation. Both of their body language and hand movements seemed aggressive. I watched them in my rear view mirror for 5-10 minutes. I had a feeling the man and woman knew each other, so I eventually went into the gas station and bought a drink. When I walked out, the man was leaned into the drivers seat, and I couldn’t see what was going on. I hesitantly approached the car, and asked “Hey do you guys know each other? Is everything alright?”. The woman immediately spoke up and said “Oh yeah we’re just friends, thank you for checking though!”. So this ended up being a non-event, but I’m questioning whether this was the right move. I know this sub is incredibly wary about getting involved in third party encounters, but I have a gut feeling that I did the right thing. However, if for some reason the man decided to attack me, I would likely end up in an unnecessary third party DGU. So I guess I’m curious as to what you guys would do in this situation, and what I could do better in the future? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3oK5cZK
