My girlfriend and I just passed our LTC course in Texas a few weeks ago (waiting for the actual cards to come in). We are first time gun owners (and while we support the 2A completely), us carrying has always been just a meme. Not anymore. This just happened in our neighborhood. https://ift.tt/3y8XVHc to bring politics into this but with recent events (the makayah bryant- lebron james reaction, etc), I grow more and more nervous about defending myself just because even in truly justified situations, I dont know what a leftist jury would ever say.1) Are there any legal podcasts about defending yourself that might ease my mind more if a situation as such rises? I will do everything in my power to avoid confrontation, probably even leave if I have to but if someone points a gun at me, I would like to be able to shoot back without worrying Im going to jail because the jury believes in critical race theory or something.2) How do I make sure I win? I go to the range often (now), my groupings are fine, but thats still a steady stand still target. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3eKeGAT
