Maybe one of y’all can help me out. I’m moving to New York for God knows what reason and I’m having trouble understanding gun laws. To my knowledge you don’t need a permit for rifle or shotgun, but you do for a pistol. That being said, have any of you applied for an upstate (Monroe county) NYPL ? If so how was the process?
