Krav Maga - best technique for seniors?

I'm considering taking up Krav Maga. What say you? Here are my conditions:

Age - late 60s.

State - not a big guy; healthy but with some physical limitations such as reduced arm reach due to injury (no hook-and-jab boxing, no long strikes with my left) and reduced leg flexibility (nothing higher than a monkey kick).

Need: I'm going to be venturing out again now that the pandemic isn't so much a threat. Love me some rock-n-roll, and while I don't patronize the sorts of joints that have fights, I'm wanting some confident self-protection as I'm walking back to my car late at night. ("I bet I can cold-cock that old dude with one punch!") I need a quicker return on my efforts rather than weeks and months of stretching and flexibility exercises.

Background: While I love the flowing beauty and the versatility of kung fu, which I formerly studied years ago, my need and goals are more immediate and more limited. I'm above-average on hand speed and grappling, and knowledge of pressure points, but again, below-average on limb extensions. I'm above-average on de-escalation, not incidentally, which is of course the first step in self-defense.

I don't want to stick around, just block, deter, evade and move. Krav Maga?
