With restrictions easing I'll finally get back to training tomorrow, it's a private lesson which is all I'm going to do for now.
It'll most likely be a good warmup (including some patterns on the Bo for a bit of fun) , a few techniques then pad work and sparring. I do a mixture of arts but tomorrow is Koryu Uchinadi, we tend to focus quite a bit on self defence (groin strikes, eye gouges, even headbutts) defending against various attacks they call habitual acts of physical violence and sparring is always a few rounds of striking followed by a few grappling.
It's very different from the other arts I do but it's good fun and good preperation for various scenarios and we train under resistance as well as doing full contact sparring so you know what you're doing actually works.
