CCW - First holster question

I've never had a gun I felt much like carrying, but recently picked up a Sig 229 Elite, and its got carry written all over it. Or, at least it feels like it's worth giving IWB a go for a week or two, even if I don't ultimately carry frequently, or at all.I've poured through searching this subreddit, read through the FAQ, poured over different makes of holsters - just had a dumb question.A few of the Kydex holsters I've looked at (aliengear shapeshift 4, for example) seem to have "locking" mechanisms to protect against accidental trigger manipulation while holstered - or like, make some noise when properly holstered, et cetera. As a newb to CCW, that sounds appealing on the face of it - I wouldn't even mind having a thumb disengage mechanism or something like that. At the same time, I'm a larger dude (220lb), and also don't want to print or sacrifice comfort for a big bulky thing. To be honest if it weren't for all the negative feedback on this reddit, I would have just bought the aliengear one a few hours ago. In any case, was just looking for feedback on how real of a "feature" that locking/click in mechanism is, and if there are better quality holsters out there that have the same sort of deal going on. I've looked at Dara, Crossbreed, Amorak, Tier 1, Safariland, and a handful of others in the FAQ. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3b4ps2J
