Wondering how you guys carry when on a road trip. I already know all the legal stuff (reciprocity, etc.), I’m just wondering about how you guys go about carrying, physically, on long drives.I’m sure a lot of you keep your gun on body, holstered, throughout the entire trip (there’s always the “I shower with my gun because _haven’t you seen Psycho?!?_” people out there) but what about the rest of you? Do you guys wear the holster but put the gun itself in the center console while driving? Take the entire thing (holster & gun) off while on the highway? Put it back on when you get out of the car at a rest station or truck stop? If so, is it weird to risk flashing your gun while doing so?I’ve carried for a while but never really found my solution. Just looking for comfortable ideas that are somewhere between the “I keep it locked & unloaded in the trunk where it would take me 5 minutes just to get it it, _because safety_” guy and the “I keep one hand on the wheel and the other hand on my gun, pointed at the road, ready for action for all those inevitable air strikes coming my way” guys. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3f1VMFY
