Any experience flying with only handgun parts?

I’m flying out of New York with everything to assemble a Glock besides the receiver. Do the parts need to be locked inside of a hard carrying case? Tsa’s website isn’t explicitly clear on flying with solely just parts. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3hJJSSR
