I’m looking at purchasing an S&W MP9 Shield for CCW- my dad just bought a 1.0 that we took to the range over the weekend, and I liked the feel of it a lot. I can currently purchase either the 1.0 for $378 or 2.0 for $483. My concern with the 2.0 is the comfort of the textured grip while IWB- I live on the Gulf Coast (read: hot most of the year), so wearing an undershirt isn’t always a great option. I realize the 2.0 has the better trigger, but I’m kind of leaning towards the 1.0 for the grip issue. Having not handled the 2.0 in person, I guess my question is, is the grip really that bad to CC against skin, or would I be better served going with the 1.0? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3lY7fHU
