A commonly cited self defense tip: "Don't stop for randos."

Could these be a bit of a dog whistle? If someone grew up not knowing who their father was, do you feel for them in any way?

I've spent time in numerous areas where each and every race or ethnic group under the sun walk the street and generally get along with one another, and I have yet to see someone get assaulted after stopping to see what someone wants. In this age of prolonged injustice, I believe that those of us who are more privileged than others should sometimes do the less comfortable thing to gradually babystep this world, and America, in particular, closer to world peace. (not perfectly free of violence, but less and less of this inequality.)
