Weak handed practice, what about weak eye?

Been doing some thinking (yes, not a good start already). It's common to practice weak handed, but has anyone given thought to weak eyed? Obviously, shooting with both eyes is a preferred method, but just like limbs, eyes are and maybe particularly more so susceptible to injury.I've also been thinking more about fighting inside out of a car. A small part of my job (of which I wish was much bigger) is doing forensic testing. I've done several tests shooting into vehicles and the amount of small glass particulate blown around is disturbing. I can easily see it totally incapacitating your vision in short order, though I've not read any first hand accounts of that specifically. So if you're about to put rounds out or anticipate rounds coming in through your windshield, to me it seems like it might be advisable to actually close one eye rather than shoot with both eyes open, then switch to your weak eye if you get glass blown in your dominant. Still seems like something you're likely to forget under stress, anywayAnyone got any thoughts or have any previous discussion on it? via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2P4VlMt
