22tcm9r round for self defense (39 grain hp, 2000fps, 9mm case size)

The 22tcm and 22tcm9r round has been around for a couple years. It's a 39 grain bullet in a case that's similar to a shortened .223 or maybe similar to a necked down 9mm. It shoots at around 2000fpsRock island armory makes a conversion kit for a few different glock models (17, 19, 22, 23) using the tcm9r round. Looks like the original tcm roind was too longI feel like the higher velocity and light recoil presents some advantages as compared to other calibers. The high velocity may deliver the hydrostatic shock that occurs with rifle rounds. The YouTube video below shows an appropriate ballistics gel penetration. It also shows good expansion and weight retention of the bullet in the gel.I'm looking for some pros/cons you guys can think of as to why or why not use this round for ccw. I searched Reddit and googled it but couldn't find a good comparison and figured this would be a good audience to ask about itGlock conversion kit http://ift.tt/2ylYwJP testing https://youtu.be/7UZWRsUXZWcA little below 40 cpr http://ift.tt/2ggrjog via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2yn252c
