Has anyone upgraded their old steel spring belt clips to the new angled polymer ones? (Stealthgear Onyx)

Basically what the title says. Has anyone here upgraded the steel spring clips on their older Stealthgear Onyx to the new polymer ones? The website says that the slight slant will help push the gun into your body more, but I'm not sure if it will really make a difference.
